What is Chiropractic

Chiropractic is a diagnosis and manipulative treatment of misalignments of the joints, especially those of the spinal column.

Chiropractic focuses on the relationship between the body’s main structures – the skeleton, the muscles and the nerves – and the patient’s health. By making adjustments to these structures, particularly to the spinal column, a patient’s health can be improved and preserved.

In the chiropractic world, prescribed drugs and surgical procedures are not performed, although patients are referred for these services if they are medically indicated.
